Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou was awarded Best International Hotel Award in 2014 by Interior Design Magazine. It is located in Tianhe, the headquarters for global commerce in China. This modern hotel embraces the history of its location, with reference to the colonial era. Inspired by traditional Chinese residences, Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou echoes the spatial qualities of a grand mansion, the rhythm of a courtyard loggia and celebrates poetic rituals found in a home.

Role: space planning, designed, rendered, produced drawing sets, and coordinated with consultants for guestroom portion of hotel. Managed onsite hotel construction, finishes and furniture fabrication for guestroom and public areas.
