The 1500 sq. ft duplex is located in the historical part of Jersey City and was constructed in 2017. We maintained the existing interior architectural elements and focused on developing the interior layout, replacing finishes, selecting new furniture, lighting, art and accessories to freshen up the space. 

Soft, muted tones with varying subtle textures provided by stone, stained wood, rattan and plaster are selected to meticulously balance out the dark modern furniture and fixtures in living, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom and children’s room upstairs adopted a warmer and lighter palette to make it a restful space. Efficient space planning resulted in carving out a spacious study room to enable work-from-home functionality.
